Q: Since the company was founded 21 years ago, please talk about what kind of development process LANDYhas gone through.
A: Landy is based in Guangdong for 21 years, from the shop to date with 58,000 square metres of production base, with microcomputer automatic production line 16 and 12 mobile assembly line. With Chairman Dr Luke Du innovation in material science as a breakthrough point, it ranks among the domestic large-scale integrated service providers in the material industry and has been certified as a high-tech enterprise. At present, Landy has become a widely acclaimed international brand in more than 80 countries and regions around the world.
Q: As a company integrating research, production and sales, what do you think is the core competitiveness of Landy in the industry? What is the biggest advantage?
A: To gain a foothold in the market, we need to rely on good products that are favoured by the market, and a good product needs to be based on the core needs of the users, LANDY has always taken the quality of the products and technology as the core competitiveness, and insisted on continuous innovation to meet the market demand.
The independent research and development ability of the product has established our leading edge in technology, with an independent R & D laboratory, with a strong R & D team that has absorbed high-end scientific and technological talents in the industry, including five PhDs and four masters, to create their own competitive advantage, always keep the cutting-edge scientific and technological power, to create the vitality of innovation, to provide a strong boost for the development of enterprises.
Landy attaches great importance to scientific research and innovation, innovation as the first driving force for enterprise development, has set up three major cutting-edge laboratories, the introduction of advanced R & D equipment at home and abroad, including UV aging tester, gas chromatography mass spectrometry joint instrument, automatic oxygen index tester, xenon lamp aging tester, ball impact tester, film impact tester, scratch tester, abrasion meter, etc., a strong R & D so that the product is always in the forefront of the market! We have obtained more than 30 national patents.
Q: In your opinion, LANDY can achieve today’s results thanks to what factors?
A: The reason why LANDY has achieved good results is based on our more than 20 years of deep roots in the thermal insulation industry, intensive cultivation, dedicated to the study of thermal insulation products, the courage to explore and innovation, the introduction of three large-scale imported equipment from abroad, such as 2.5 metres width of the thermal insulation material machine, the first of its kind in the country. At the same time, we adhere to the quality of the product excellence, adhere to the market-oriented, customer first concept, so as to obtain the support of many customers, won a good market share and reputation.
Q: What are the current challenges facing LANDY and how are you going to deal with them?
A: In the past two or three years, not only Landy is facing severe challenges, the plastics and insulation industry has faced trade wars, epidemics, staggered power consumption and other challenges. Landy has been sticking to its original intention, ploughing deeply into the insulation plastic industry for many years without any distraction, responding positively in front of the challenges, striving forward, responding quickly according to the feedback from customers, strengthening independent innovation, and developing more products to meet the needs of customers, such as shipping container insulation.
